For this pre summer edition, Beats of Love is moving to De Kreun in Kortrijk for the very first time and we hope you will all join us on the ride.
The last years Beats of Love has invited a lot of big national and international guests on their dance floor. Names like Dr. Lektroluv, The Subs, Zombie nation, Alex Gopher; Les Petits Pilous, Autokratz, Sound of Stereo, Bombo, Popof, Cassius djset feat. Zdar, Duke Dumont, D.I.M., Fake blood and many others, brought crazy, twisted and refreshing electro in all its form and colours.
As Beats of Love has a strong following in the West-Flanders, we decided to take Beats of Love to them for this edition. It will take place at de Kreun in Kortrijk, a beautiful new concert hall with a great infrastructure.
All the way from Brasil, Mixhell, composed of the former Sepultura drummer and his wife will unleash a new concept onto the dancing crowds of Europe. It’s a DJ project with an extraordinary Live element. Iggor and Laima have now incorporated an MPC Sampler into their DJ Sets, and on top of that Iggor will play live drums during the set. This will be a unique set, never seen before in Belgium.
This will allow them to fully explore the inner depth of their music whilst delving into the depths of a dirty hybrid of Electroclash, Hip Hop, Cyber Punk, dark Rock ‘n’ Roll and Dubstep, spiced with powerful electro sounds and unleash it to the underground dance community.
They are joined by the famous Ed & Kim duo, who are setting dancefloors on fire all over the country, whenever they are not electrifying the airwaves on Studio Brussels.
Also our resident Spacid will bring his collection of Ghettotek, Baile funk, Electro, and bass-boom-boom-thingumabob that will make you cum!
Local West-Flanders heroes Hector & Nate, will be performing for the first time at Beats of Love and will deliver a set of strong floorfillers and raving up-front electro-house. They will also release their first EP this summer, so watch out!
Briefly: We will make the city of Kortrijk tremble to its foundations !
